Organic Igp Vermentino Toscana
TILIO is a wine of a straw yellow color with a taste that leaves great room for the freshness and aromaticity typical of the vine .
The mouth therefore registers together with the typical acidity of a young wine and the delicate minerality of the product, the pleasantly bitter finish typical of the cultivar: the flavor of each glass immediately recalls another.
Our Vermentino was planted in 2014 on a small plot of approximately 3000 m2. The first years were not easy because the growth of the new cuttings occurred simultaneously with extreme climatic situations, such as the spring frosts and summer droughts that have occurred in recent years.
This difficult start has made the new plant more hardened and combative today, a characteristic that is reflected in the wine it produces, Tilio; in fact, what is fascinating about Vermentino is its willingness to acclimatise in different territories and, at the same time, the characteristics that define it based on the soil that welcomes it.
Vinified and aged exclusively in steel, Tilio is ready to be drunk in spring immediately after bottling, certainly fresh and - to start with - definitely as an aperitif.
